Community Connector is an AI-powered networking platform designed for conferences, hackathons, and community events. Attendees join an event, create a profile describing their skills, interests, goals, and session preferences, and receive personalized networking recommendations generated by AI. The platform identifies high-value connections, generates icebreaker introductions, and visualizes relationships between participants through an interactive community graph. By helping attendees discover relevant people and meaningful conversations, Community Connector transforms large events into more engaging and productive networking experiences.
Currently the only event registered in the database is "Build with TRAE"
How an Attendee Uses Community Connector
Imagine a participant arrives at Build with Trae.
- They enter the event code and join the event.
- They create a profile:
- Skills (Python, AI, Web Development, Design)
- Interests (LLMs, Agents, RAG, Startups)
- Goals (Find collaborators, internship opportunities, mentors)
- Sessions they plan to attend
- The AI analyzes their profile and compares it with other attendees.
- The system recommends:
- People they should meet
- Why they should connect
- AI-generated icebreakers
Example:
"You and Rahul are both interested in AI Agents and RAG systems. Rahul has deployed production AI applications while you're exploring agentic workflows. Consider discussing deployment strategies."
Instead of randomly networking with hundreds of people, attendees immediately discover the most relevant connections.
How a Speaker Uses Community Connector
A speaker at Build with Trae can use the platform to understand and engage with their audience.
Before or during a session, they can see:
- Audience interests
- Most common skills
- Frequently occurring topics
- Potential discussion groups
Example:
A speaker presenting on AI Agents may discover:
- 40% attendees are interested in Agentic AI
- 25% are exploring RAG systems
- 15% are interested in deployment and MLOps
This helps the speaker tailor examples and discussions to the audience.
After the session, attendees interested in the speaker's topic can be recommended to each other for deeper discussions.
How Organizers and Community Leaders Use It
For organizers of Build with Trae, the platform becomes a community intelligence dashboard.
They can:
Measure Engagement
See:
- Number of attendees
- Popular sessions
- Networking activity
- Community clusters
Identify Interest Groups
Example:
The system may reveal groups focused on:
- Generative AI
- Agentic Systems
- Web Development
- Startups
- Design
Build Long-Term Communities
Instead of the event ending after one day, organizers can identify people with shared interests and encourage future collaboration.
Community Relationship Mapping
One of the most powerful features.
The platform creates a visual graph showing:
AI Agents Cluster
|
|
RAG Cluster ----- Startups Cluster
|
|
Open Source Cluster
This helps organizers understand:
- Which topics are bringing people together
- Which attendees are highly connected
- Which groups may benefit from future meetups
The Value Proposition
For Attendees
- Find the right people quickl
