Delhi service hub is a centralized digital platform designed to simplify access to civic services and complaint management for residents of the National Capital Region (NCR). The platform provides a single place where citizens can report municipal issues, track their status, and interact with existing complaints instead of creating duplicates. Users can submit complaints by uploading images, adding a detailed description, and selecting the exact location of the issue using GPS or an interactive map.
One of the key features of the platform is its intelligent complaint management system. Before submitting a new complaint, users can view all existing complaints reported near their selected location. If the issue already exists, they can support it by voting or increasing its priority instead of creating another report. This community-driven voting system helps government departments identify the most urgent and impactful issues based on public demand.
The backend automatically analyzes each complaint, categorizes it based on its description, determines its severity, and routes it to the appropriate government department, such as MCD, PWD, DJB, or Traffic Police. Complaints are also organized according to their location, responsible department, severity level, and priority, ensuring that they reach the correct authority quickly and efficiently.
The platform integrates MongoDB for secure data storage, Elasticsearch for powerful search, geo-spatial queries, and duplicate detection, and Kibana for real-time analytics and visualization. Department officials can monitor complaints through interactive dashboards, heat maps, and performance analytics, enabling them to identify complaint hotspots and allocate resources effectively.
By combining AI-powered categorization, location-based routing, duplicate detection, public voting, and real-time analytics, the Delhi Civic Service Navigator creates a transparent, efficient, and citizen-centric ecosystem for civic issue management. The platform not only improves communication between residents and government departments but also helps authorities prioritize resources and resolve public issues faster, ultimately contributing to a cleaner, safer, and better-managed NCR.
