SafeHer — With you, every step. A fully working women's safety platform combining real AI, live location, and instant emergency alerts — built to work even when the internet doesn't.
Women's safety incidents often happen in moments when reaching for help isn't simple — poor network, no time to type, or no way to plan a safer path in advance. Most existing safety apps assume perfect connectivity and only react after a button is pressed. We wanted to build something that works the way real emergencies actually unfold: unreliable signal, split-second decisions, and the need for both proactive planning and reactive help.
SafeHer is an end-to-end safety platform where a user can:
- Trigger an SOS that generates an AI-drafted alert message and sends real SMS to trusted contacts with live location
- Plan journeys using a real safest-route engine — actual road routing scored by nearby footfall/amenity density, shown as Green/Yellow/Red
- Get auto-alerted via a Missed Check-In system if they don't confirm safety within an expected time
- Find real, live-searched nearby police stations and hospitals — and tap any result to see the actual route there
- Talk to an AI safety chatbot that can detect danger mid-conversation and trigger SOS automatically
- Use discreet tools: a Fake Exit (disguises the screen as a weather app), a Fake Incoming Call (with ringtone) to exit uncomfortable situations, and hands-free Voice-Triggered SOS via a safe word
- Fall back gracefully when offline — the app detects lost connectivity, warns the user, and offers one-tap SMS/Call fallbacks that work over normal mobile signal, no internet required
