Android app and networking

### How Android Phones Actually Connect to the Internet Ever wondered what really happens when you tap a button on your Android phone? This session takes you behind the scenes of everyday connectivity—from Wi-Fi, IP addresses, DHCP, gateways, DNS, packets and latency to how Android apps communicate with servers. We’ll then take the same networking concepts into the physical world by building a simple Android + IoT flow using Wi-Fi, HTTP, ESP32 and GPIO to control an LED. Along with the technical learning, I’ll also introduce attendees to **Android Lucknow**, its developer community, learning sessions, workshops, networking opportunities and collaborative environment. I’ll encourage attendees to join and stay connected with the community so they can continue learning, building projects, networking with fellow developers and growing together beyond this session. This session is designed to give beginners a practical mental model of networking and show how Android can become a bridge between software, networks and connected devices.
