Who we are
We run standard desktop applications, like Android Studio, in the cloud and stream the user interface to the browser. Through a combination of advances in algorithms and adoption of cutting edge standards, we are able to make the remote application feel as responsive as the one running locally.
With our approach, there is no loss of productivity, either because of laggy user interfaces (as with other remote desktop solutions) or needing to adjust workflows or course materials (as with other remote programming setups). At the same time, you get to take advantage of the limitless resources of the cloud for faster builds, modern streaming technology for better collaboration between developers, allowing for a better platform for remote pair programming, remote debugging, code reviews, etc. For students, this also means a more interactive remote learning experience and better way to resolve doubts or issues. We can also replicate standardised programming setups across all students, so that they don’t need to spend time dealing with boilerplate.

We're building this community to empower our users with the support to not only use the Moreficent platform, but also maximise their development experience and knowledge.
We want to combine the benefits of running applications in the cloud and showcase them through community driven educational events run by Indsutry Experts. Compete with other community members by taking part in our hackathons and see first hand how Moreficent can help you do more, with less. Collaborate with peers through pair programming sessions, resolve doubts by dropping into another community members environment, just like you were sitting next to each other!
