Managed physical and network enterprise infrastructure, including the configuration and racking of server and network cabinets for SLB deployments. Assisted in the administration of network defense hardware, working directly with Siemens firewalls to secure Operational Technology (OT) environments. Administered enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols via Microsoft 365 Admin center, configuring and provisioning secure internal accounts.

Researching the intersection of technology and law, with a focus on digital regulations, data governance, and cybersecurity compliance within the digital economy (CCPA/CPRA, DPDP, GDPR, TDPSA) Leveraging a technical background in software engineering and network security to assist the TMT (Technology, Media, & Telecom) practice in analyzing tech contracts, SaaS agreements, and software licensing. Translating complex technical frameworks into actionable legal and regulatory insights.

As an AVIT & Security Intern at EGIS, I supported the team in managing and maintaining audio-visual, IT, and physical security systems across infrastructure projects. I gained hands-on exposure to enterprise IT and AV environments, helped document and review VSS (Video Surveillance System) designs, and contributed to CAD-based layout reviews. My responsibilities also included assisting in access control planning, understanding network and information security principles, and observing system integration workflows for large-scale infrastructure. This internship enhanced my foundational skills in IT systems, AV technologies, and physical security — forming a critical bridge between traditional infrastructure and modern cybersecurity practices.

Gained hands-on exposure to core cybersecurity concepts including Zero Trust Architecture, cloud and network security, and firewall implementations in real-world enterprise environments. Trained extensively on Trend Vision One and earned the Certified Vision One XDR Professional credential. Contributed to a team project focused on AI-driven DNS covert communication detection, where I led the setup of a custom virtual lab environment using VirtualBox. Participated in simulated threat scenarios including credential dumping, and analyzed XDR reports to understand detection, response, and mitigation workflows. Developed key soft skills such as public speaking, teamwork, and delivering presentations on technical topics to both peers and mentors.
